Skills, Experience and Education Required:
Completion of Secondary School or Equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience
Must be familiar with Metal Core Arc Welding (MCAW / MIG) and Flux Core Arc Welding (FACW)
Having experience with Overhead Crane Operation and Basic Rigging is preferred, but not required.
Must be able to read and understand written plans and following verbal instructions.
Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
Must have an acute attention to detail to ensure that quality standards are met.
Job Duties:
Reading blueprints and specifications to determine the materials necessary to lay out work.
Laying out reference points and patterns according to component specifications.
Preparing materials prior to assembly.
Assembling and fitting metal sections and plates to form complete units using tack welding or bolting.
