Company description: This world class established manufacturer is looking for a Full Time Welder Fitter with a minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience to work in a pressure vessel custom manufacturing shop.

Job Duties:
•Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications
•Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as TIG, MIG, and Flux-Core
•Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
•Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
•Determine weldability of materials
•Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
•Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
•Previous fitting experience
•Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications

Skills, Experience and Education Required:
•Completion of Secondary School or Equivalent experience
•Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in a pressure vessel custom manufacturing shop (must)
•Experience in pressure vessel and TIG (aluminum and stainless steel)
•Experience in welding techniques such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), fusion welds, multipass, resistance, spot or seam
