About the Opportunity
A Canadian-based gold producer with operations in Canada and Mexico is seeking an experienced Underground Development Miner – Scissordeck Bolter to join its operations team at the Young-Davidson Mine.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supervisor, Mine Operations, the Underground Development Miner – Scissordeck Bolter will:
– Install ground support in accordance with company standards
– Install and maintain underground services
– Load development rounds
– Prepare development faces for Jumbo operators
– Meet daily production targets
– Perform pre-operational inspections on equipment
– Operate equipment safely and efficiently
– Maintain strong housekeeping and safety standards
– Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
– 3–5 years underground mining experience
– Accreditation in U/G Common Core modules and specialty modules
– Strong safety focus
– Ability to work independently
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to read mine plans and drawings
– Previous bolting experience preferred
