Job duties:
Load necessary asphalt job material which range from 50-80 pounds from shop garage to work truck
Supplied rides by our client from shop to job site daily
Once arrived at designated job site must lay out tarps in order to protect clients property from getting damaged
Set up ladder in order to proceed removing old existing asphalt shingle from roof into dump trailer in neat clean order
Inspect current roof plywood condition for any rotten then proceed to replaced with new plywood using power tools
Unload Boom truck with pallet of bundles of shingles 80 pounds per bundle on to roof as instructed by foreman
Pass new asphalt shingles to experienced employees in order to complete the new asphalt shingles installation efficiently
Clean clients property from any roofing debris into dump trailer supplied by our client
Skills, experience and education required:
+ 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Must not be afraid of heights (due to working on a roof/Heights daily
Must be team player
Must be able to receive instruction from foreman
Must have a positive attitude
Must be physically fit due to job being labour-intensive
Must be able to work long hours in heat & subpar weather conditions
Must have knowledge of using power tools [tool belt, utility knife , roofing hammer, chalk line, measuring tape, steel toe boots, harness]
Working at Heights Training is mandatory
Schedule Monday to Friday. Some weekends may be required as per business needs.
