Biometrics Appointment — Steps

Check Your BIL 📄

Find your deadline ⏳.
Make sure your name, passport number, and date of birth match your documents.

Determine Your Local VAC 📍

Please refer to our email for the closest available biometric collection centre.
All locations: IRCC Link

Book Online 💻

Click the direct link provided in our email.
Choose the “Online” booking option.
Follow instructions — redirected to VFS Global page.
Sign up or log in to your VFS account:

If new, click “New User” and register.
Password tip: Use 8-15 characters (1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 number, 1 special character).
Verify via the link sent to your email (check spam if missing).
Log in again with your registered email and password.

Click “Schedule Appointment”.
Select VAC location, number of applicants, and category (Biometric Enrolment).
Click “Add Applicant”.
IRCC Number is in your BIL (end of page 2).
Select your preferred date and time.
Click “Request One-Time Code” (sent to your email) and confirm.
✅ Done! Confirmation Letter will be emailed.

Get Ready for the Appointment 👜

🛂 Valid passport
📧 Appointment confirmation
🪪 Local ID (if required)

On the Day 📅

Arrive 15 minutes early ⏰.
Go through security screening.
Fingerprints ✋ and photo 📸 taken.
Keep your biometrics receipt.

Book as soon as possible — VAC slots fill fast 🚀.
To reschedule, log in to your VFS account at least 24h before.
Missing the deadline can lead to refusal 🚫.
