Technical Trainer

Work location: Ontario, Canada

Wage: $88,000 annual

Job duties: 

• Deliver classroom, shop and video conference training on Caterpillar equipment. 
• Develop training content according to established Caterpillar standards, participate in the analysis of training needs and contribute to the maintenance of training equipment Must-haves for this role
• Deep working knowledge of engine, hydraulic, electrical and transmission systems.

Skills, experience and education required:

• Trade certification or a bachelor's degree in the field of instruction
• Solid expertise in calibration and diagnostic processes and tools
• Driver’s License requiredCommunication skills 
• Comfortable using office software such as PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Video conferencing, etc.
• Strong orientation to customer relations and Health and Safety at work
• Availability to travel across the client's locations in Canada
• Additional courses in teaching, apprenticeship program an asset

Schedule

• Shift work: Mon-Fri – Occasional Weekends depending on customer requirements
• Number of days per week: 5
• Number of hours per week: 40
