TECHNICAL RECRUITER – Mining Industry (English & Portuguese Required)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter with a strong background in recruiting engineering and technical professionals within the mining industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience managing full-cycle recruitment for technical roles and must be fluent in both English and Portuguese.
This position is ideal for a recruiter who understands mining operations, engineering disciplines, and international talent acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical and engineering positions within the mining sector
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for technical and mining engineering roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and hiring priorities
  • Develop sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and networking
  • Conduct technical and behavioral interviews in English and Portuguese 
  • Coordinate candidate pipelines, interview scheduling, and hiring processes
  • Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and ATS records
  • Support international recruitment initiatives and candidate engagement
  • Build strong relationships with passive technical talent across mining and engineering sectors

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical recruitment
  • Proven experience recruiting for engineering and technical roles
  • Previous exposure to the mining and heavy industrial sector is a MUST
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written) is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of technical job descriptions and terminology
  • Experience using ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
