A leading Canadian gold mining company is seeking an experienced General Supervisor – Mine Planning to join its Technical Services team at the Macassa Mine.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Mine Engineering Superintendent, the General Supervisor – Mine Planning will:
* Lead Mine Planning and Survey teams to deliver operational objectives
* Develop and monitor short- and long-term mine plans
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
* Identify and resolve production bottlenecks
* Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams
* Evaluate underground infrastructure capacity (ventilation, dewatering, electrical)
* Contribute to annual mine planning and technical services strategy
* Implement systems to improve planning efficiency
* Mentor and develop team members
Qualifications
* Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related discipline
* Strong underground mining and technical services experience
* Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
* Experience with budgeting and cost analysis
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* P.Eng. or equivalent is an asset
Compensation & Benefits
*Salary: $130,000 – $165,000
*Bonus: 20% target incentive
*Pension / RRSP: 6% employer contribution + 3% match
*Vacation: 3 weeks
