Position: Open Pit Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Northern Ontario
Job Responsibilities:
Operate equipment such as haul trucks, bulldozers, graders, and excavators in a safe and efficient manner
Follow mine plan and supervisor instructions to move materials within the pit
Conduct daily inspections and report defects or maintenance needs
Comply with environmental and safety regulations at all times
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in open pit mining
Valid operator certification and demonstrated safety record
Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
Strong communication and situational awareness
Red Seal Certification is an asset
Salary Range: CAD $30 – $40 per hour
