As a bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s financial records, managing invoicing, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the efficient handling of financial transactions and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping and Accounting:

  • General Ledger Maintenance: Record financial transactions in QuickBooks online and maintain the general ledger.

  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank accounts to ensure accuracy.

Invoicing and Accounts Receivable:

  • Invoicing: Generate and send client invoices promptly.

  • Receivables: Track incoming payments, follow up on overdue invoices, and ensure timely collection.

Expense and Payment Management:

  • Expense Reporting: Process and review employee expense reports in compliance with company policies.

  • Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, prepare payment batches, and maintain accounts payable records.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date financial records for reporting purposes.

Required skills & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 2-5 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience.

  • Expert in QuickBooks online

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a finance career.
