Job Title: Ultra Class Mechanic

Work Location: Cochrane, Ontario

Hourly Wage: $50.74 

Job Duties: 

• Performing regular servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on all applicable mobile equipment;
• Use of computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of required repairs;
• Repairing hydraulic, powertrain and electrical systems;
• Use of various tools including hydraulic power units, torque wrenches and hoists;
• Identifying and reporting part requirements and supplies as required;
• Preparing electronic service reports and documentation in an accurate and timely manner;
• Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient work area.

Job Qualifications:

• Trade Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair
• At least 5+ years of experience as qualified heavy equipment mechanic in a mining environment 
• Experience with ultra-class mining equipment  
• Proven experience with CAT 795F and 798AC trucks
• Strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills 
• High proficiency in the use of CAT SIS and CAT ET
• Computer literate  
• Open to work on a 14/14 rotation schedule
