Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Road Construction Equipment)

Location of Work: Alberta

Wage: $40 per hour + full benefits

Type of Position: Permanent, full time

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on paving and heavy equipment
Assist with diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Maintain accurate service records and reports
Ensure safety protocols are followed in the shop and on-site
Work closely with senior mechanics and operations team

Qualifications:

Heavy Equipment Technician or Automotive Service Technician trade
Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 with air is an asset)
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Experience working with construction or paving equipment is a strong asset
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends during peak season
